Effectivity of silage and probiotic on the rumen metabolism of ongole cattle in vivo experiment

Terbuka

Silages and Probiotics were used for improvement of cattle productivity. Key of effectivity of silage and probiotics changes observation direct or indirect roles on the rumen ecosystem after silages and probiotics were given. The objective of this study was examined the effects of silage and probiotics on ruminal ecosystems in vivo treatment. Samples were colected 3 hours after feeding for analyses of cellulolltic activities (DNS rnethod), pH and partial volatile fatty acids (VFA) measurement (Gas Chromatography rnethod). Results shorved that effectivities of silage and probioticsgiven together rvere significant effect (p<0.05) increased rumen metabolism product ( persenmNQ such as propionic acid (19.44), valeric acid (0.76), isobutyric acid (2.21),isovaleric acid (l .77) compared with basal diet. The rumen metabolism. profile from single silage given were significant effect (p<0,05) increased pH (7,36), isobutyric acid (l,66YomM), and decreased butyric acid (5,34o/omM), wheres probiotic single given was significant effect (p<0,05) to decreased pH (6,30) and had tendenncy incerased of production VFA as rumen fermentation product ( persenmM) propionic acid (17,58),isobutyric acid (1,50), and valeric acid (0,33).
